Sky Shop (Gate 9 Shop)
In this shop, you will find a wide variety of Kagoshima souvenirs, including sweet potato confections such as Karukan, as well as local specialties such as Satsuma-age, Kurobuta pork, and shochu spirits. It is located near boarding gate 9 after the baggage checkpoint.
Keihan, the typical local dish on Amami–Oshima Island, is freeze-dried in this package.
The local rice dumplings that are the favorite for everyone from small children to the elderly. Originated in Satsumasendai City, these baked dumplings are traditionally coated with soy sauce.
Yakusugi is a cedar at least 1,000 years old and grows wild in Yakushima, registered as a World Natural Heritage site. You use handicrafts made from Yakusugi, a sacred tree of longevity, as lucky charms.
