Kagoshima Airport

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with security inspections.

Due to the revision of the Civil Aeronautics Act in March 2022, security inspections became mandatory, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to passengers using Kagoshima Airport.

  • Scissors, cutters, knives, and other items that can be used as weapons, as well as other dangerous items, are not allowed on board the aircraft. Passengers with such items are requested to notify the staff in advance.
  • In order to ensure a smooth inspection, please place cell phones, keys, coins and other metal objects, computers, mobile batteries, PET bottles, water bottles, and other such items on the tray in advance.
  • Coats, jackets, and outerwear should be removed and placed on the tray in advance.
  • Boots and thick-soled shoes may also need to be removed.
