Q

How do I get to Kagoshima City?


A

Limousine buses depart from Bus Stop #2 every 10 minutes.
There is a direct route (to Kagoshima Central Station) as well as the routes via Yoshino or Ishiki. Tickets cost ¥1,200.

Which bus stop is for which direction?


A

Stop #1: Ibusuki, Taniyama, Hitoyoshi
Stop #2: Kagoshima City
Stop #3: Kirishima, Kushikino, Sendai, Izumi, Akune, Ohkuchi, Minamata
Stop #4: Kanoya, Tarumizu, Kokubu, Shibushi, Iwagawa
Stop #5: Makurazaki, Kaseda, Kajiki, Miyazaki

Fees for the car park in front of the airport terminal building.


A

Fees are as follows:
[ Standard-size Car ] ¥100 per 1 hour, ¥1,000 overnight
[ Mini-vehicle (Kei Car) ] ¥100 per 1 hour, ¥1,000 overnight
[ Large-size Car ] ¥310 per 1 hour, ¥3,100 overnight
[ Motorcycle ] ¥60 per 1 hour, ¥600 overnight
• When not parking overnight, the fee is up to ¥700, regardless of the number of hours.
• For overnight parking, the calculation is based on the number of days.
• Please inquire directly at each car park around the airport concerning parking fees.

Q

Where is the taxi stand?


A

As you leave Doorway 3, there is a medium-size and small-size taxi stand.

Q

Is there a place for cars to stop to see-off or pick-up people?


A

There is a pick-up & drop-off area for use by private vehicles directly in front of the Domestic Terminal Building. Please move on promptly following pick-up or drop-off for the courtesy of other people wishing to use the space.

Q

What are the terminal opening and closing times?


A

The Domestic Terminal Building opens at 6:50 and closes at 21:30. However, terminal closing time may change due to circumstances as to the last flight of the day.
The International Terminal Building is open from 3 hours prior to departure time on the day of service until 1 hour after flight arrival.

Q

I would like to borrow a baby stroller and wheelchair.


A

In each entrance hall there are 4 baby strollers and 1 wheelchair. They are available free of charge. In the case where there is no wheelchair, there is a spare in stock. Please contact the Tourism & General Information Office on the first floor.

Q

Is there some place I can change my clothes?


A

There is a dressing room on the first floor.

Q

Where is the bank and post office?


A

There is a bank and post office in the vicinity of Doorway 5 on the first floor (south side of the Domestic Terminal Building).

Is there a nursery in the terminal?


A

There is one in front of the JAL Counter on the first floor. There are two in the Gate Lounge on the second floor close to Gate 5 and Gate 8.

What time do shops and restaurants open?


A

[ Shops ] from 7:00 (from 10:00 only for Furusato Market on the 1st floor)
[ Restaurants on 1st & 2nd floors ] from 7:00 (Excluding Yamagataya ramen shop)

A

A pharmacy is located on the north side of the lobby (inside the Airport Yamagataya Store).

I would like to store my baggage.


A

There are coin lockers in three locations in the Domestic Terminal Building, and one location in the International Terminal Building.

Where is a mailbox?


A

Mailboxes are located on the front walkway between Doorways 3 & 4, on the first floor of the Domestic Terminal Building. You can also hand in mail at the Post Office counter.

Self-service facilities are located beside the Tourism & General Information Office on the first floor.

Public Wireless LAN Service (Mzone,HOTSPOT) is provided at several locations in the Domestic Terminal Building.
Further, pay internet terminals are available for persons who do not have a personal computer.

I would like to charge my mobile phone.


A

There are 4 locations to charge mobile phones; beside the Tourism & General Information Office, in front of the Royal Restaurant and at Gates 6 & 9 (within the Gate Lounge).

A

There are two kinds of commemorative stamps at the Tourism & General Information Office on the first floor. Please use these to commemorate your visit to Kagoshima.
